Thanks for the link, and the news. I had a Lego sighting this weekend also.
Maybe this is old news, but I was watching the DVD extras from volume V of Ghost
in the Shell Stand-Alone Complex, where they were interviewing two of the
mechanical designers. One of the designers, Shinobu Tsuneki, had on the table
in front of him lego models he had made of a Fuchikoma and a Tachikoma (mechs
from the anime), as well as minifig versions of Aramaki and Major Kusanagi (two
characters from the anime). It's pretty cool to see what a professional Anime
mech designer comes up with when they work with Lego.
