Hello all. I just got around to posting a worm-geared mech I built for the
Galactic Inquisition. There was an unfortunate disaster before I managed to
take most of the pics, and now his leg joints don’t work so well. Anyways,

I’ve heard all the arguments about the effectiveness of mechs in combat, but
decided to go for a huge mech with the idea of intimidating the masses in

please let me state my condolences.
This is a horrible
thing to see!
You did an excellent job. This mech is unique. And good looking BTW.
As I’m still learning about mech building I’d like to see more details of the
skeleton. Maybe you can do some pics when you cure the wounds of Templar. I
hope you do, because he’s worth it!!

I have some more pics of the skeleton on my HD, I could upload if you want em. I
think you might be better off buying Brian’s instructions, though. After all,
this was my first attempt, and I figured out most stuff as I went along. Brian’s
instructions are the result of years of refinement, and no doubt involve all
sorts of insights that haven’t occurred to me. Then again, there’s something to
be said for trying it yourself, I think it’s good to understand how it works, so
you know where you can make changes.
