Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
Hey Guys, I'm back in it. I haven't posted in a while because I moved and had my stuff in boxes but not any more. Here's my latest: (URL) name is homage to my two favorite video games.         Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Allister McLaren
(...) That thing's got balls! (It had to be said). As usual, you set the standard for Bionicle mecha, and set it very high. cheers, Allister (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Thanks Allister. I'm just trying to keep up with you guys!! Jeff (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

What kind of defensive capabilites does it have to protect the family jewels? And how tall is that mech fully erect? F (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Do I have to post this on Howardstern.com??? I don't think the FCC will allow MOCs of this nature. It is crude and indecent!! Ha! Jeff BTW he is 14 inches erect including the balls...thankyouverymuch. (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Mark Neumann
(...) Funny, because when I looked at the pics, I thought the hands were done rather cleverly. I'd never think to do that and I thought it simulated fists nicely. Overall shape of the mech is outstanding too. I like the balls on the back too. You (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Thanks Mark. I just threw together the hands and left them like that and never looked back. They do have the appearance of fists but leave you wanting more...maybe thumbs. I don't know. I might try something else. (...) Yes! I'm the first with (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Kyle Vrieze
(...) Wow, I just checked the sidebar, and we've got spider walkers from Brayton and Allister, Jason's Gundam, and now your Orbital Boost Frame. That's a sidebar with plenty of coolness. I think the head, chest and waist are the real highlights, (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Yeah the hands are wanting. I will take pics of the back, although he can't stand up very well due to his...b..b..backpack. Thought I was gonna say balls huh? Jeff (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jason Coronado
(...) looks like we've both been away for awhile. i'm gonna level with you: i have never been a big fan of bionicle. i think it's a great idea and i can see why so many people are drawn to it. but most of the creations i see on brickshelf look (...)          Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Thanks for liking my stuff even though you don't like Bionicle. I just happened into it before I got into the system stuff. The reason I was drawn to it was because it reminded me of the Micronauts I had as a kid. It has a simple robotic (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —David Simmons
(...) happened (...) was (...) Right on! Micronauts are definitely one of my fave-raves from my childhood. Jeff, have you ever been to: (URL) often go here just to bathe in the warm and fuzzy waters of nostalgia. I had quite a bid of Micronauts as a (...)          Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Hey Dave, A fellow Micronaut! I still collect Micronauts and Microman. The new fig's articulation is AWESOME! They're selling them at Suncoast Video if you are interested. You should check out this place for even more Microman action: (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Keith Goldman
(...) Back in it indeed. Epic work Jeff, but why is it wearing its bra backward? Put those winnebagos on the front-side where they belong! And those hands...how could you even post those meat-hooks...a disgrace...a child could do better...Sophie (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back! —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Ah Goldie, I think his back "moobs" are because of the excessive G-forces while boosting in orbit.:-P Yeah, those meat hooks I'm gonna do something about those b-yotches. I resign my membership in the LMHOF until I fix them. Thank you. Jeff (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Jeff, another fine job. Once again, I enjoy seeing the form you come up with. I look past the connections to the core of the design. I like it. e (20 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
