Thanks Jah-son, I don't often re-do a robot, so this was fun to do.
Really though it seems smaller to you? It's not though. It's bigger, taller and
has thumbs! LOL!

love those insectile wings,
too.  might you perhaps make a vid clip of it's movement?

I should do that. Funny thing I noticed about the Record and Play unit.
Something that has been commented on before. The unit has a slight delay or
stagger when in play back. My thought is if a kid makes a car and hits record,
then zooms it across the floor spaspically, the motor and its record sensor
won't flip out. So when I record the wing movements, I spin the hand crank as
fast as I can and when its plays back, its is not exactly the same speed, but
close. Again, this is part of the built in protection. So when I play the
movement back the wings do not flap as smoothly. So when you view the clip. Keep
that in mind.

how's the
posability of the legs? can it crouch, kneel, or simulate walking?  listen to
me and my questions--i sound like an elementarly school boy.  nicely done,
boss.

The Legs bend with the suspension, but they have limited articulation. This
robot is mostly sculpture in that respect. The hex truss is very ridgid, this is
one robot I'll hardly ever worry about falling down.

Some of my Mecha make me very nervous. That nervousness has gotton the better of
me during shows like the Houson Galleria show, Jersey City Art Tour and others.

In recent times, things like the Quadra-peds and other improvements in design
have put me at ease.

perhaps you can redo your praying mantis sometime...

Dare me.

P.S. Thanks again, I always look forward to your interaction.
