morning Allister,
I saw your mecha on BrickShelf before seeing your post. Here is what I think : I
like very much the fact you integrated as much as possible rounded bricks in
this mecha : the barrels, the kind of rings used on the outside shoulders, the
ball-joint form the AT-ST for the shoulder joint, etc... It give a retro kind of
feel to the mecha, a friendly / non-agressive style I like. A little bit
reminding of this or
that Japanese robots.
Good point, isnit?
Not being a mecha builder, I guess the joint solutions you came with look
inovative. At least the close pics you took allow us to understand how you did
this, which is nice, as your mecha seems to be higly poseable!
One more good point for the fact you could add some thrusters in the back and on
the feet!
