First of all, Im really liking those legs. You get some good angles out of
those technic click joints. The can launchers are swifty.
The single eye thing works so well for this thing, too.
Come to think of it, I really like this thing. I need to get me some of those
click joints. Soon.

Hey, I tried to reply once already, and something went wrong. Sorry if the
original reply eventually shows up and I end up repeating myself.
These are the only mechs Ive built so far using the technic ball joints, and
thanks to the joint strength, theyre the heaviest Ive ever built. The
chicken-leg styles usually require more strength. Im thinking these could
function as hip joints for an even heavier humanoid-style mech. Eric Sophie
recommended these parts, and they do indeed work well.

This one I initially didnt like so much, because it stuck me as very Life on
Mars-y, but now Im won over.
(maybe cause this
shot reminds me of the opening bit in Final Fantasy 6 with the Magitek Armor
in the snow...)

Ha! I didnt see the Life on Mars resemblance until you pointed it out. Oh
well, there were some decent sets in that theme...

And this thing is just hot. All over. Id name it Flipper.

Glad you liked it! (Flipper?)
