Re: New MOC: AG weapons platform

(...) That sounds like the level of dread and uncertainty I was looking for... (...) Ho ho. It was more a question of what was available. I built an all- grey version to get the shape, but it badly needed a detail colour. I just realised the other (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New kid in town!

Hi all, Like many others, I’ve been visiting this newsgroup for quite a while and I'm more than fascinated with all the fabulous creations. And now, finally, I have something ‘presentable’ to show and I’m hoping to get some pointers from all you (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

(...) After taking time to examine the pics and let the insane construction soak in, I must say...insane! Dude, this is wicked cool. I adore the head, definitely trademark Sophie work. And it's nuts how you have one little gearbox holding the entire (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Kurahk

This is slight modification to the Rahkshi Kurahk. The arms were replaced with heavier weapons. I am just getting started with mecha building so I was looking for comments regarding the mod and the presentation. (URL) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

(...) Looks fantastic. The white color & the claws work great on this mecha. "Just when you thought it was safe to have a pet bunny..." Jeff (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: AG weapons platform

Will, I find this to be a frightening glimpse at an all-too possible future. Thank god its in red, and will be easy to spot. All mockery aside, its a very cool anime-style kill-bot. I dig the chaingun. I don't think you need legs (IMHO), anit-grav (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

Yay Sophie rulezzz...zzz The bunny looks soo cool, and it would be even better if you could transform it into a jackalope--i am stranger than the rabbit--or just give it bigger ears. The bunny looks anorexic(the waist is kinda small) i will report (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Three updated and one new Mortar Headd!

In lugnet.build.mecha, Christopher Snead wrote: SNIP (...) Thanks. MH heads are a good starting point, I often just doodle a few heads every now and then, because a lot of the "character" of a Mortar Headd comes from it's head/face/neck region. Take (...)   Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

Eric you nut! Crazy cool, weird and funky tasty mecha! Yay! I can't really give coherent commentary on your stuff. I don't know why, but there you go. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

(URL) The "DEETS", E, the "DEETS". It's all about the "DEETS". What ...no technic rabbit pellets? Awesome as always! Ryan (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

Eric, this is the best so far. I love it. It put a smile on my face, and thought, what can I do with orange brick to make a really big gun for this beast... Later Mark (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

(...) <snip> Very Sophie-esque, especially the head. I don't think I've seen anyone else use cockpits for eyes , but you manage to work it in on every mecha! When you need some good luck, just take off its foot and attach it to your keychain :-D (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Aldebaran's New Clothes

(...) Thanks for the input, Eric. I thought is was time do do something different with the head. Also, I think 12" is just right for the SBD joints (although Dave Johann might disagree with me ;-) ) Later, Chris (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Aldebaran's New Clothes

(...) Thanks, Jeff! I've really been influenced by your work - especially your Gouka (but you know how much I love that mecha...) I would love to see you build a brick mecha, but I would also miss your Bionicle/Technic mecha as well... Chris (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - Technic Rabbit - The Rumble Bunny

Lets get ready to rumble! E, the Rumble Bunny is amazing. You continue to innovate and inspire builders in all genres. The articualtion is amazing, and that reverse-knee joint is nuts. Sort of like a monster in H.P. Lovecraft... I can't quite get my (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New MOC: AG weapons platform

Hi folks, Hello .mecha! This isn't exactly a de-lurk since I've posted elsewhere before, mostly in .space. Here's my first mecha, although it plays fast and loose with the tricky subject of leg and arm joints by not including either. I hadn't built (...)
