  It's a Mech...It's a plane...It's, uh, both?

Transformers, more than meets the eye... Transformers, robots in disguise. Okay, so it's not an actual for real Transformer from the TV show, but hey, it's nifty enough. Presenting for your perusal, Talisaro. (URL) by Paul D'Urbano's transformer: (...) (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha) !

Re: New Female Mecha MOC: Raresa-Meitsu

(...) Haha! too true... (even if I like Sailor Moon...) (...) Suzumehara Satsuki sent me a nice email and pointed out that Kotaro Ono had also made a version of the BlazerMate: (URL) mostly due to their slender frames and sleek design. it (...) (...)   Re: Prototyping

(...) This is really fascinating stuff, Dave! Thanks for sharing. I thinkn I'll be spending as much time checking these out as I do Paul Hartzog's "ideas" BS folder. I especially liked this idea: (URL) I can't wait to see how they've worked out in (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Prototyping

(...) Thanks Paul, but I think you're missing my reason for posting these. I'll be posting finished MOCs using many of these ideas within a few days. You see, I already know what these prototypes look like, so they won't benefit me any further by (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Prototyping

(...) [...] (...) Well, you've got some great parts ideas, and it's your call, but I'd much prefer you reveal 0% of your prototypes. Personally I want to see ideas on a finished MOC because the challenge of application brings concepts like context, (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Prototyping

I'm often asked how my latest mecha or space build went and many times I reply that it just didn't work out and that the item in question has become a prototype. Until now, I really didn't have a way to explain what thet meant. (URL) are days when (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

sailor moon would be like 200,000,000,000,000 (2 hundred thousand billion or 2 to the 14th power) times better if they ALL were killer robots! ;-P this model rocks, i really enjoy the female mecha variants like this one, Soren's "Fatima" model, Gla (...)   Re: New Female Mecha MOC: Raresa-Meitsu

(...) Yeah, there are a lot of small pieces in this one, which contributes to the overall weaknesses. However, they fit the bill, namely to create something detailed but very small. (...) hee hee!   Re: Invictus Horriblus- 'The Unconquerable Horror'

Re: What I made from the 4099 Robobots Designer Set

Eric, This looks interesting. One thing that confuses me, though - what's up with the dark pictures? I noticed that the pic of this mecha and classic space bot that you built were photographed in very dark conditions. In the past (with the little (...)   Re: New mecha: Hoplite

Okay Frank, here's my thoughts: I'm feelin' the mohawk! This is brilliant and AKAIAC, the best part of the mech. It compliments the rest of the mech well-it helps accent the bulky feel of your design. That said, I can't say I like much else on the (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
