  Re: Terran Walker Tripod

Thanx Bas - dank je wel - and check back often to see more ships and some mecha! Love, Sylvi (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Terran Walker Tripod

(...) Thanx admiral, glad you liked the Tripod. It's not completely as triangular from the top as I would have wanted it to be, but it will do. And the sad pilot of the Jehukal just found out he will be killed by the terrans or sent to a distant (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

(...) You're welcome. Well, Bitstream really sparked my interest about creating transformers on that scale. I do have two worked out that function like Bitstream and I have been messing with designs in my sketchbook. They will be in physical form (...)   Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

(...) Hi Bas, Glad you liked it!!! I spent a lot of time in my youth playing with Transformers (though not as much as with LEGO) and I guess a little of the Transformers "feel" is buried in my brain somewhere. Thanks for the comments! Hi Andrew, (...) Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you like it. I remember you mentioned you were interested in transformers at the last GardenSLUG meeting. (...)   Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

(...) Hi Eric, It is fun to transform it back and forth. Thanks for checking it out. I was thinking this would be right in line for the Road Show stuff. My goal was to prove to myself it could work and I didn't spend too much time on the aesthetics (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Terran Walker Tripod

(...) Geez, Sylvi, how did I ever miss this! This MOC is awesome! Getting ships, walkers, and other things into a tripod shape is difficult (at least for me), and you pulled it off very well! Love that canopy and the colors rock! The pilot of the (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

Sheer beauty... That's my comment. Transforming things rule! Besides that, you captured the Transformer "feeling" well. I like the robusteness of the car mode, and (unlike many transformers) the elegance of the robot. It somehow seems finished, (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)

Re: The Jamocklaquat - Picture of the Day

Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

(...) Hummna hummna humna... (...) Paul, YES and YES. This is terrific. That car mode is neat and could pass as a real auto (give or take an intake ;). (...) I think that's a great way to start. I never thought I could design one until I saw (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)

Hey that looks fun. The Car mode is neat. Good stuff to put on display at the Road Show in Philly. Right on. e GardenSLUG (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

What do you get when you mix Maximum Wheels and Robobots? ... a car that transforms into a robot, of course! Hey Sylvi, big...BIG...RED...AAAAAaargh I went through your website, there are a lot of different FRESH designs there! Somehow, your ships are different...and that's good.   Re: Terran Walker Tripod

Sylvi, you prolific space-kitten. The Tripod of death is very, very cool. The first thing that came to mind was that body-pod-harvesting atrocity in the Matrix. If you could make the tripod in black, and give it a big pod sack... don't mind me, I'm (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
