When I saw this one the other night, I immediately thought it was too spacey/ aquazoneish to be considered mecha, but as I looked closer I saw the same elegance in design that you noticed.   New MOC: The Red Death
 
Heres my newest MOC, the Red Death. It is a fully autonomous robot,capable of operating by itself for days at a time. Weapons:Chain gun on the left arm, 7 (1 is in the tube) missiles, 4 unguided high explosive and 3 armor piercing guided. Also, two (...) Andrew, What I tried to imbue in the black head was the character of the Predator such that you'll get intimidated by just looking at it. Even though I spent half of the time fixing up the "hair" (the minifig arms just kept popping off!), it was (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
