  Re: Optimus Prime

(...) Wait until you see my finished Optimus Primal. (...) Wow some very good observations. I didn't notice how skinny he looks until you mentioned it. I think I will do 8-wide. (...) I posted the pics of the trailer inside hope you like it please (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Optimus Prime

  Re: Mecha Beast Heads

(...) Amado, These are ALL very interesting head designs. I too would like to see them eventually in full form. I really like the use of the brick w/ handle piece in the red one as teeth. Very clever. Like Stuart said, the black one's "hair" really (...) (21 years ago, 27-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha Beast Heads

Stuart, Thanks for the compliments! All four had the basic design underneath and I've essentially tried to come up with different details that were inherent in the character traits for each one. Yeah the black stands out among them and it may not be (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha Beast Heads

Way cool! really nice detailing all over-- my favourite has to be the black one-- the "fuzzy hair" made from minifig arms is brilliant! Well done! They deserve top-notch bodies to go along... ;^) stuart (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another MH for y'all

(...) They have nearly identical proportions, but the skirt armor is quite different, and the other Mortarheadd is proportionally thinner through the waist. (...) I'm assuming you mean FSS, and it isn't. Five Star Stories is a comic, and I know of a (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Teaser page - Optimus Prime

(...) Hey, that would be really neat. But no delaying! ;-P (...) Oh man, hate when that happens. Best wishes on exams! (...) Well I think you have done a good job of documenting your other TFs with the sketches, even if they were shown after the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another MH for y'all

(...) Soren- I really like the proportions of this mech as compared to the other MH (I know you said its being reworked). The shoulder design is great and the head configuration is one I have not seen before. I too like the small grilles and rods as (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: It Lives Again!!! (MOC: Metal Gear Rex)

(...) Whoa O.O Very cool. I've always loved Rex, and your original model's been my favorite rendition. This new one just fleshes it out more and brings better proportions in. Sweet. I think my favorite change is adding those 'damaged' bricks into (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Teaser page - Optimus Prime

(...) Hey, I'm working as fast as I can here :) I (as I'm sure I've said before) *love* this head design. I should post an exploded view of the thing; it's pretty interesting. As for the rest of him, it might be a while. My computer just died of (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Latest from Jun Nishizawa

Mechers, Spacers- I came across this last Sunday night but waited to see if there would be any mentioning of it. Since there has not been, I thought you all would like to see this if you have not. (...) Thanks! Tain't gonna get me into the Hall Of Fame though... (...) Thank you! I had fun with the cattlehorn piece, wish I had more of those. I'm really glad it all came together. (...)   Re: Another MH for y'all

(...) He's a custom. I'm not skilled enough to build an accurate copy of an FSS design. (...) Thanks! Nice to know they're still popular. More, ummm, someday... (...) I'll do you one better and post instructions. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 25-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another MH for y'all

(...) (Blush) Stop that! My face is gonna stay like this :) (...) Not really. I'm lazy, and I typically don't play with finished mecha much, so it doesn't have a lot of poseability below the waist. Very stable though, great display MOC. Take care, (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another MH for y'all

(...) Thanks! Mortarheadd shoulders are loads of fun to build. (...) Well, art it is not. I'd say it's somewhere in between, because the hip joints have very limited movement, but the upper body is rather limber. (...) Ah, good. Concealing joints is (...)
