  Re: Blue Beast Mecha

Andrew, Those joints will be rebuilt in time and the head design won't be affected much when I do the mods. Thanks, ACPin & Sons (...) (21 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Jamocklaquat - Foot Development

(...) No, I'm not laughing, I think you look good in pink! (...) This one will be amazing! Sure I had seen all the pictures before but it's getting more and more complete. *sings* "Go go Zombie, go go yeah, yeah, yeah" Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) (...)   Re: PA004 -Open Atmosphere Suit- Scout Type

(...) What's cooking Andrew? Thanks, i am glad you liked it. I was pretty pleased myself with the end result. If I could only have my dream of building a whole army..... Oh well, maybe one day. Take care buddy. (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: PA004 -Open Atmosphere Suit- Scout Type

(...) What up G?! Thanks. I am hoping to get to the level of color mixing I have seen posted (u included). For now I am trying to stick to the basics, mostly because of money and parts I have, but I do love the industrial look... Later. (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Another MOC

(...) Thank you! I'm really glad you like the axe, I spent the longest time trying to get the curve down. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Blue Beast Mecha

(...) Amado, I too really dig the head design! I also like the broad shoulders. Only criticism I have is that the joints/axles above the knees look out of place. ciao&salaam -Andrew GardenSLUG (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another MOC

(...) Soren, This mecha is great! I too like the "chunkiness" and I definitely can pick up a sense of character from the design. I particularly like the right-arm shield and the (what I presume is) battleaxe. ciao&salaam -Andrew GardenSLUG (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new site

(...) Stephen, That is a really neat site you have developed! Your manned mission sounds really interesting and looks magnificent! I can see from the available pics that a LOT of time and effort has gone into its design. I hear you about being away (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

In lugnet.build.mecha, Eric Sophie writes: <> (...) Eric, Holy schnikees indeed! Those are some massive feet but then again the head alone is huge. Ever since I saw the head design I have been drawn to it...has a piercing look to it...kind of (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Jamocklaquat - Foot Development

Hey thanks, they look a bit big because I went balls out making them sturdy and functional. I figured the ankles would be the most important joint in making the Robot stand. As for making it walk. I was gonna build six legs for it, so it would walk (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Jamocklaquat - Foot Development

holy shnikies!! those feet are huge! they also look very stable. i suppose they would have to be to support that huge mech. do you actually plan on having your mech walk? it looks like it might. that's quite a project you got going there--can't wait (...)   Re: new site

Cool. I really like the droids- they look really mechanical. The Optimus Prime is pretty good, too. The pictures of it transforming are really cool- you don't see those types of pictures much. The logo for the first page is striking, too. -JHK (...) (21 years ago, 8-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: PA004 -Open Atmosphere Suit- Scout Type

(...) Hi Keith, thanks for the complements. (...) Well, I mentioned what weapons it can carry on my post... I just have not taken pics of them yet because I made them after the fact. Because it is a scout, it uses limited weapons. This suit is not a (...) (21 years ago, 8-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: New Mecha: J-88 Firebrand

(...) Thanks! He may look better than the other LEGO's mini-mecha, but I doubt he's as sturdy as them. His head is only attached to his torso by a dark gray 1x1 round plate, and his torso is attached to his legs by another round plate. If I flick (...)   Re: New Mecha: J-88 Firebrand

(...) Hey, Thanks! How really freaky, but I'm studying the Aztec Culture right now :-O! The 'starburst' effect was purely by accident, I was just trying to thicken out the chest. Thanks again, Nathan Lord of the LEGO (21 years ago, 8-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
