Re: That's it, my mind is gone (New Mech)

Holy. Fricken. Molley. I get confused just looking at it...in a good way of course :) I can't get over the engineering in this beast....you really have outdone yourself in technical merit Adrian. Awesome. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

(...) Thanks! I considered the legs and though they feel a little spinky they are four and as such I thought they did not be so big since they kind of share the load in strenght situations. It made more sense to keep the mech kind of slim and thus (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

(...) I wear boots too :) (...) Yeah, they make a great contrast. (...) More muscle, I'm working on that (without steroids)! I was considering chains but they're dark grey and I had decided to use black and orange (except for the "machinery" in the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

Glad I took a sick day! (gad, gone for a few days and I miss so much) This is pretty darn cool. The thighs are a bit small but it blends right into the body so I didn't notice. The feet seemed really narrow to me, but is cool. Head is big and flat (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Tw0nCo ICU FireMech 1.0 Prototype

Mmm. The color scheme is wild, but the design is good. You definently have a good mech-ish feel around it. Now just try building it with one or two colors. It might be hard to find all the parts needed, but trust me, the great design of this mech (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

I like! My only recommendation woulld be to bulk up the hips. Otherwise, I think you did an excellent job, especially on the head. ROAR indeeed! Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

(...) Thanks! When I got the head togheter and looked at it a chill went down my spine for a brief microsecond. It must have been the tiredness getting to me but it was an interesting feeling. As far as the pics go I think I added too much light in (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

(...) That's sweet to look at! I'd hate to meet one up close and personal--the pics are menacing enough! Nicely done! Dave K (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

Hi all! First Mech I'm really happy with; (URL) cudos to Mark Neumann for his excellent knee-tech! Since I aim for creating stuff like Bryce do within mayhaps 10 years or so I'd like to know what to do better etc.! So speak up! I know, bigger, bader (...)   Re: PA004 -Open Atmosphere Suit- Scout Type

That's really cool. I'm surprised you were able to get that much detail and articulation into something so small, and still have room to fit a minifig in it. Great work. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

PA004 -Open Atmosphere Suit- Scout Type

The Scout version of PA004 is outfitted with smoke/flare tube launchers and jump thrusters. An experimental technique for concealing objects has been developed and installed on PA004.   Re: UBM MOC

Bruce, As you can see in the bottom pics, this was designed to have a full array of weapons that can simply be attached to either arms. I didn't have anymore hoses like the ones for the arms so I replaced them with those hinge cylinders that you (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Torment - my newerest mecha

(...) When building things like this I would be rather chocked if it we're not "forever" between the posts! (...) Yikes! (...) As Adrian recently showed, poultry mix well with Mech! (...) More light would do the trick I think. If you have not looked (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: UBM MOC

Hey AC, Very cool. I really like the weapons on either arm. Another favorite detail is the dark gray clicky-arm pieces (I have no idea what that one is called, it's the legs in the MINI AT-ST) around the ankles. Bruce (22 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Head idea

(...) I think you know tha answer to that already. I like hoe the hinge suggests a visor. The idea of eyes on the side would change that to a big nostril, which could also be cool. Very clever adaption ot the 4x4 dish hatch. (...) Very nice how (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Check out our latest MOC from our homepage, UBM - Unnamed Black Mech (URL) lack of a better description and something that I intend to improve upon later on due to the limited parts that I had to use...
