One tip for making it look more gorilla-like is to make the body come out at a 45 degree angle from the shoulders. That would make the forearms jutt out more. (...) A lot of my mechs have the same body composition something which I am trying to change. But most of my mechs use these pieces: Technic ball technic sockets 1x2 brick with axle hole 6x1 wedges? Lego's are the greatest hobby so relaxing and creativly fulfilling! Anyway I'm finally back after my computer's power supply blew on me.
