(...) I like the way you use the "interesting" lego parts. Proportionally it looks fine. One tip for making it look more gorilla-like is to make the body come out at a 45 degree angle from the shoulders. That would make the forearms jutt out more. (...) A lot of my mechs have the same body composition something which I am trying to change. But most of my mechs use these pieces: Technic ball technic sockets 1x2 brick with axle hole 6x1 wedges? (slopes?) 2x1 hinge bricks with 2 fingers 2x1 hinge (...) (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Lego's are the greatest hobby so relaxing and creativly fulfilling! Anyway I'm finally back after my computer's power supply blew on me. (...) I'd prefer these to ball joints, given the choice. The latter are just to weak to support any weight without some extra stiffening, IMO. Now....
