Re: New Mecha MOC: Neko 2

(...) I don't want to cause any marital strife! And, truth be told, Neko II isn't nearly as... articulated as David Thomas Jr.'s FeiYen... Thanks for looking! stuart (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I'm a slave to Photoshop. Though I used a slow "film" speed, and lots of natural light, the pix were still underexposed. Photoshop brought out _some_ details, but not everything. I'm going to try to take some more with a filtered flash. (...) (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) How many have I made? Um, Neko I, II, Lola... that's it! (...) I'm assuming you mean a lateral 90 degree turn-- it wouldn't affect anything-- the ankles are symmetrical through 180 degrees. Actually, this _is_ the weakest point, IMO. They just (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mecha "For Girls"

Greetings! With apologies to Stuart's "Neko 2", Jeremiah's "Trixie" and other fine female mechs I just had to try my hand at a PIXIE "For Girls" (URL) kudos to whomever is moderating BrickShelf today, these passed inspection less than 30 seconds (...)   Re: Another Transformer - Trixie

(...) You got any sketches for your work scanned? Those can be a real assest for someone trying to jump into the tranforming genre. t (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another Transformer - Trixie

(...) Hey, thanks! I guess it helps to be able to visualize it, but the vast majority of designing a transformer (for me, at least) is done on paper and in mock-ups and such. I can think about it all I want, but nothing's going to happen unless I (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another Transformer - Trixie

(...) Thanks, Bruce. I can't take credit for the antenna/stickshift joint thing - it's been around in various mecha for a while now. I wish I could remember who started it, because it's one useful little deal. A word of warning, though, if you plan (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Some fun fad MOC's

Those pixies are just too cool. I love the angles of the arm joints that make them look all beefed up. The 'civie' ones are just great...the firefighter is such a blast. Hooverbike is nicely done as well...good stuff! Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Another Transformer - Trixie

Jeremiah, That's outstanding! I especially like the little trick you did with the stickshift element. I'm going to have to use that sometime. Bruce (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
