Depends on what you're after. If you're a general manga/anime buff and
you don't mind the fact that Newtype is completely in Japanese, it's a
great source of information. As is quite common with this type of
magazine, Newtype comes loaded with nice posters and pullout booklets
and whatnot. If you're just looking for cool mecha designs or ideas,
you're probably better off with something like Hobby Japan though.
Note that I can't read a word of Japanese... I just bought a couple of
issues because of the nice pictures and the Evangelion poster... ;-)
