Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

Thank you sir. The legs were the jumping off point for this little guy....I had them sketched out before the rest. Must be an after effect of poking around in .mecha..... Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

That's a nifty little Mech you built there. It reminds me of my SM-388 robot I built a while back only this is 10 times better. I like what you did with the hip joints. Looks very good. Good to see a moc show up under the a.c.e.r. banner. Jamie (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

Very cool, Gil. The legs really work well with the cockpit- its hard to make an armless mech that looks right. The use of the dish and round brick design for the hips also is nice. You are the master of things that stick out! You really did the back (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha (finally...)

I'm totally late on the boat with this one, and would have missed it entirely had I not done a search to see what you've been up to! Boy am I glad I did...this absolutely astounds me Mladjen. The sheer size of the beast alone knocks me down, but (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Biopede...Trying to understand Bionicle

Hello All, This is a MOC I did a few months ago while working at the Lego Outlet in Atlanta (for a short time). I started out with a few sets with the intention of seeing what I could come up with. The main idea was to try and understand what it was (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) It bristles with weapons although it's so small and mobile - that's what I love about it. Great model, Gil! Regards Thomas (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

Dang that's good. Very solid and compact. It looks as though even if it ran out of ammo, it'd do a fair amount of damage just by ramming the opponent. Nice one. Allister ...thinking mecha thoughts... (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Greetings! Presenting a.c.e.r.'s latest (and first) mobile armed platform. Hopefully the start of a trend, returning to this too long delayed line. (URL) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Whoa- Jaw-Dropper New Mecha

Thanks for pointing these bad boys out to us! I actually saw them the other day on Brickshelf, but it's nice to see Mr. Sanchez get some wider exposure. I wonder if he's familiar with Masamune Shirow? Some of the designs are eerily similar. (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey all- Browsing along through brickshelf, I stumbled across these. My apologies to the guy if he was gonna post them, but I hadn't seen him around here. (URL) WoW! NICE medium mecha designs, not to 'weaponized', great coloring, sweet use of (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

GIL, It's Imperial, I love it. Fantastic job creating this little "beast". Of course, I can't help but to appreciate the use of "other" elements...thanks. Jeff (BLASTERMAN) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)
