oooh...zaku and rx-79 hybrid! good call! i never looked at it that way, although the design is purely accidental. i've done several bandai gundam models including the ms-06a zaku II and one of the (g) gundams (i forget which one) so it's possible (...) let me get this right: this is your FIRST mecha? that thing is fabulous! it's way better than my first mecha--which was more like a clunky robot with big guns. you got the gundam look down also. i really like how you incorporated the entire white (...) (...) Thanks. The hands are the yellow foam hands that come with the soccer sets. A useless mech doesn't need articulated fingers. The transformation is a compromise, and even moreso with lego than with the toys, it makes the robot form suffer, aesthetically speaking. That's no disrespect for the transforming lego mecha that I've seen, they are quite good, and in the case of (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
