  Holy Cow Gla Gla!!!...!!!
 
Jeez! This is by far the coolest mecha I HAVE EVER SEEN! I found it on the Lego Robo Plan, the Japanese mecha site and knew it had to be Gla Gla's I check his gallery next and ho' nuff there it was! The darned coolest mixture of ABS I have ever (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

Thanks, Tony. I wish I could spend more time building, etc. Mostly everyting is virtual now, I don't do much with real blocks, except to prototype things. A few years back i was showing my platform arm )now defunct) to a friend of mine in engineering,and while talking about degrees of freedom and he said something about half a degree of freedom. Who you calling old!!! :^) Ha! I think this cool man, nice transform-ablity, and it has nice form! One suggestion...Bring you image file sizes down a little. Your pics are HUGE!! Hey, this set looks great! I wonder what joints they use? I bet it's going to be expensive though, my guess around $90 like the Repub. Gunship. No the bushings keep the lever holder thingy on the bottom from sliding up and down and keeps the joint snug. (...) Wheels do spin! I used a half technic (...) All this talk of articulation points reminds me of an actual splined robot. Basically, it was a series of convex circles through which ran a series of wires, with a space in the middle for a spray hose or pressure cleaning equipment to pass through. (...)
