Re: Yes, a good week for mecha

(...) It's interesting to see your progression as time has gone on... I remember seeing your first two gundams in the "Cool Lego Site of the Week" and thinging "those are absolutely perfect!" It would have been difficult to believe that you could (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: color schemes on mecha

(...) Everyone else correct me if I am wrong, but I see what we create here and display with the world is our art form. We 'sculpt' these beautiful plastic pieces to have functionality and to look good. For me color is a BIG issue. I have every (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha

(...) Great work once again! It is incredible how many of these you have when I am still trying to find the time and pices to build just one copycat that doesn't even have an internal skeleton! Here are the things I like in particular about the MS06 (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  color schemes on mecha

What I want to say will get me flamed, but this is i big concern with me. If the color scheme is just a little bit off, dose that make the mecha seem just thrown rogether without much effort put into it even though there was a lot of effort put into (...)   Re: Yes, a good week for mecha

(...) Awesome! Does it bend at the knee, cause if it does, that rocks. Are you sure this is your last one? BTW is brickshelf free? 'Cause if it is wait about a week and you'll see my inability with lego. Pardon my ignorance, oz (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha

(...) Very awesome Brian! Can't wait to see more pictures. I was way impressed with your mecha that you graciously sent to show at BrickWest. Hopefully I'll have a chance to see this one in person. -mark (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yes, a good week for mecha

Sweet, killer, refined, sleek. Look at the feet! Wow look how great thay are with the little red angles forming the shape of the front foot!!! Check out the way you made the Legs, specfically the shape of the plates going up towards and formming the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Yes, a good week for mecha

Finally accumulated the parts I needed to finish this yesterday. The MS06 "Ground Pounder": (URL) joints have worm screws, 15 in all. All armor plate can be removed like a master grade kit, a really cool way to build. "K" (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  A good Week for Mecha

What a Good week it was for Mecha! Mech! Mech! Mech! BTW - I plan to resort my entire Lego collection, I'm heading out today to pick up more sorting bins. The LB's have their work cut out. I hope to gear up for a new creation in the near future. (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Geordan Hankinson: Thanks! (...) I will! (...) I know what you mean, but if the MOC is of the same quality as yours the more the merrier! I did not like I had to take a lunch brake in my look-session though :) (...) You're welcome :) But I'm (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Heh. Ah dang, okay, I'll work on that. ;-) (...) Thanks. (...) Yeah, maybe having them the other way around would look good on this mecha too. (...) Again, yeah, I could have made it larger. It's one of those anime mecha style issues. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

Gad Mladen, well done. (what else can be said really, you rock on this one.) But one criticism, don't you think you got too many studs showing??? lol Chain guns at the hips: way cool, remind me of something off an Apache. Missle racks: big and beefy (...)   Re: Gla Gla's Patlabor

(...) ALPHONSE!!! That's Noa piloting him. WOW!!! This is the most exciting mech I have seen in a while. Mostly because Patlabor is my favorite anime. And this labor is so well constructed. Jude This made my day. 8^) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
