Re: New MOC: Maelstrom light mecha

(...) Thanks John. Yep, that's an arm mounted grenade launcher. The best way I've found for doing these little ones is to find out where the pilot will be, then build outwards from him, while maintaining a constant proportion. BTW, it stands around (...)   Re: Fire Cricket

(...) Nifty. I like the cockpit and how you used the Kopaka swords. -Chris (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) bionicle head. My favorite part is definitely the arms. Nice tanks on the back too. -Chris (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: new Mecha HSM-015C Colossus Cannon type

(...) Cool stuff John! Like Mladen, I thought Gundam when I saw it. Very Zaku-esque. I really like the legs, and that gun is cool too. -Chris (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Maelstrom light mecha

(...) I wouldn't go that far. :-) But thanks. (...) Yeah, I saw that...I like it. Cool poseability, especially in the back. Definitely one of the hardest places to articulate. I came up with an interesting spinal column idea that I'll have to take (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My First Mech

Nice Job, Wayne! It's got all the basic requirements of a 'mech'-thin legs, big feet, joints and guns. As basic as it is, that seems to be a great starting point for something larger in the future. As much as I like the ears, I'm not sure they fit (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

Re: New MOC: Maelstrom light mecha

(...) I love the little mecha that are so small that you have to have the minifigs head inside the mecha's head. (unfortunally I have yet to successfully build one myself) I really like the porpotions and massing of this, it makes it look bigger (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: new Mecha HSM-015C Colossus Cannon type

I like it, John! ;-) It has a very Gundam-inspired design (reminded me of a Zaku actually). It's cool how all your mecha retain similar design features. Your choice of colours was good too. I like the weapons too, however I think back-mounted cannon (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My First Mech

I think it's pretty cool, infact I would encourage you to make more. I like the main cabin or upper part of the Mech. Hey make sure your Mech wins in the game! Uphold the honor of the Mech group! We shall send re-inforcements!...ok getting carried (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

Re: new Mecha HSM-015C Colossus Cannon type

John, kool, I always like the stuff you come up with, and this one is cool! Dang, I'm gonna go look somemore! Legomaster (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Maelstrom light mecha

Hey the Oragomi Mecha Master strikes again! Look'n good gotta go stare somemore! Legomaster BTW - Chris I rose to your challenge, I made a little one myself! (URL) kinda silly though.... (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Fire Cricket

Ahhh, I'm not a good friend! I didn't see this one! Hmmmm, clean, neat, kinda small, but not that small.... Yes indeed a new addition to the Snowleopard Clan! Good deal. Man I hav'nt made a "Walker Mech" since: (URL) those curtains! Legomaster (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My First Mech

(...) Ahhh- I'd like to see some pictures of it in action, I looove brikwars write-ups with pictures. You are taking pictures, right? >as a fast recon mech. (...) Actually, interesting is a better word... With brikwars, every thing is silly. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

  My First Mech

I know it's not anything spectacular, but it's my first attempt at making anything mech. I built it for an upcoming BrikWar game as a fast recon mech. I think I'm justifying the "ears" as heat foils to help bleed off the access energy it generates (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

new Mecha HSM-015C Colossus Cannon type

  Re: Fire Cricket

(...) awwww, soft! :^) (...) care to elaborate? I'm not sure I follow. When I made the Bullfrog hardsuit, I used clickhinges to get the front plate to 'snap' right up to the body-- worked pretty well! But what kind of channel do you mean? I'm not (...)   New MOC: Maelstrom light mecha

Hi all, I took the cockpit design of the Erghiez, and expanded on it, Heavy Gear-ized it, and came up with the Maelstrom. Check it out on the mecha page. -Chris (URL) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

(...) Thanks for the reply! I am toying with some other citters in my mind... we'll see. (...) Always do. Build on. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.space)

  Re: Fire Cricket

(...) Thanks Yeah, I was thinking of a mecha that sort of hugs you when you get into it. I don't know if the pics really capture it but the front pieces have a channel to go in so everything fits nice and snug. It's nice to get some feedback on this (...)   Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) Yeah. But if I had covered the pilot completely it would bulk up the front more than I'd like. (...) Thanks. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- Mark's Lego Creations (URL) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
