Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) sweet to (...) Thanks very much! I was trying very hard to keep this one small. I think I did ok on size. Unfortunately I built it with Mark N's pieces at his house, so I can't keep it. :^( I still chuckle when I look at the last picture. ;^D (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: TBB the Tiny Blue Bot

(...) Ha, no fair! So the Legomaster now has his own army of construction bots standing ready for the construction of his next mecha! The Blue Bots of myth and legends, the one who controls their power gains unlimited construction abilities (sorry, (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) once more, small mechs are not my specialty, but this one looks really sweet to me! In fact, I can honestly say that this is now my favorite of all small mobile suits. It is small, and yet it still has its own "personallity". Me likes a lot; (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

(...) Not only interesting but quite sizable as well, very nicely done :) (...) With so much said about this model, I don't think I can provide any new constructive commentary. I am looking forward to your next creations, I like mocs build out of (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.space)

  Re: Fire Cricket

I like this one. Deceptively simple, but expressive nonetheless. Fabulous cockpit arrangement-- I really like how the sides and top close in. Fab colours, too! stuart (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: TBB the Tiny Blue Bot

wow! I have a theory: I think lazy LBBs created the TBBs, to cover up for their lax work habits. Either that, or Eric's clearly lost his mind. Then again, maybe it's the rest of us that are mad.... Fantastic use of otherwise forgotten pieces, Eric! (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: TBB the Tiny Blue Bot

LOL! First off, AWESOME story; I can just picture all of that happening. ;-D Second, what an interesting little robot you go there Eric. The parts usage is phenomenal; I saw steering wheels, those small wheels used for carts, even LOM alien legs (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) Yes, it somewhat looks like a converted civilian model or test prototype with the seeming gaps in frontal armor protection. Light mecha rely on speed for protection but their ease of deployment will likely put them on "peace keeping" missions (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  TBB the Tiny Blue Bot

If you look real quick you can just barely see them. They scurry and jump around, in and out of the Lego Area in a blink of an eye. Was it a TBB!?! :O When the LBB's are cleaning and sorting, they are a joyous creation and thusly sometimes the LBB's (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

Looks like everything came together real good in this one, real nice. Like it all just sort of happened. You made it work. Good looks all around, must be cool to have it around. Build on! Legomaster (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I also took some photos of the two mecha together. See them here: (URL) were (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) Yep. I actually got the idea last night. I had gone to Mark's house to take him some Appleseed manga that I had borrowed, and I was looking at some Buy-onicle parts in one of his bins. I looked at one of the masks and said "This would make an (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

Thanks, so I take it you'll be interested when I do a wolf and raven mecha? More things for the idea docket. I'm still fooling with a diorama too. Got to settle on a story. You know what I mean? <<heh, also got to dismantle some stuff. Too much Lego (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.space)

  Fire Cricket

Mark Sandlin and I were fooling around last night and did a two hour build-a-thon inspired by the bionicle masks. Here's my contirbution. (URL) Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

Cool MOC, as usual Mark. ;-D Like others have mentioned, the use of the Bionicle mask is very "neat" (okay, okay, it's totally sweet dude). One suggestion though, add more armour to the front. The mecha has a lot of bulk, yet the operator still is (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) Neat! Nice use of a bionicle mask on the top of the noggin. I like the way that the head pokes through that little hole in the top of the mask. Another use of a potentially useless part. Good job! Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

Now that is one cool mecha, hehe, awesome, it looks like it has really good articulation, and all of it is mechanized too, just too cool, This is such a clever idea too, I mean, I would never have thought to take a bird of prey to mecha. hehe, (...)   Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

hey cool, That is one of the coolest hard suits I've seen in a while! what a awesome use of the bionicle mask, that is ingenious. I love that, It has such a neat bulky feel to it, and it has neat weapons too, I really like that bionicle mask though, (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
