Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

Woah, thanks. Now if I can only figure out how to make this pay... Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

Thanks. I've wanted a creation that could be mistaken for a sculpture when everything was hidden. I think I got it right. I know that because I just sort of stare at the thing...   Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

LOL! This really something original... ;-D Great job as always Mark. I love the weapons you managed to "sneak" in. The cockpit is cool too, sorta reminded me of the one found on Metal Gear REX (of course this happens quite frequently to me). :-) (...)   Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

OH MANNNNNNNN!!!!!!! THIS IS THE BEST MECH EVER! Well, maybe, anyway! I just LOVE this! Looks like it came right out of Battle of the Planets! The building skills demonstrated here are, of course, lovely, but the idea of it is absolutely superior-- (...)   New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

Here it is, The Black Eagle. The Snow Leopard Clan's newest air/space superiority mecha. (URL) Eagle has a 43.5 inches wing span, 138 studs. Length is 26 inches, 82 studs. Height is variable at 4 inches with dorsal gun and talons retracted and 10 (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.space)

  Re: New Diorama

In lugnet.build.military, Mark Neumann writes: Thanks for the compliments Mark! (...) Go for it! :-D Eh, maybe later. :-( Looks hard. Well, I wouldn't say hard, you just have to have everything you want in mind before you build it, cuz it becomes a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Hey that looks really good, it looks like it has awesome poseabillity, and I like the weapons. The hat is somewhat a neat touch, if a bit silly, the shoulder are cool, and they have neat little weapons in them too, awesome, The arms really need to (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Nice work Joel. The legs, ankles, and feet are very well done. They fit together nicely. The hat makes the mecha look whimsical. I'll need a while to warm up to it. Did you stiffen the plate hinges on the arms or do they hold up all that weight? (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Diorama

Great job! Making me want to try it. Eh, maybe later. Looks hard. I'm curious though, what's the story? Or is there one? (I'm just wondering what your story was...BTW) But really this is absoultely gorgeous. Shame you couldn't save it and expand (...)   Re: new MOC: Pulse

Looking good man. What'd be cool if you can get a movie of these guys fighting like in the game. What I like about the Mecha is that this is a good exercise in how a mecha can look humanoid with out looking human to work. This guy looks bare bones. (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

I particuarily like the right handed weapon. The arms look a little funny. I'd beef up the biceps, time to *pump up!* The hat is cute. Silly even. I love it. Brilliant idea, need work on the execution. What I'd consider doing different is adding a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Gosh, I think it's a shame that you tear it down (figuratively) at the same time you announce it-- makes any compliments I have sound insincere. The truth is: I rather like it. A sEric states, there are a lot of interesting pieces in the model, and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Hey hey, check this out, oh man look at all those cool black pcs.! Drool! Cool look at the shoulders! That 4x4 inverted slope/corner slope Balck part in the chest is the coolest!   Re: New Diorama

(...) Haha! I was going to use the exact same example! But I wasn't sure of some of my facts, since it's been a while since I saw it, so I decided to leave it out all together. That was a great movie, and alot of the inspiration for this model came (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Diorama

(...) Hey. Question. Are we talking like any movie? Because if so, go and watch Behind Enemy Lines. A pair of UH-1 Huey Gunships ripped through a large number of infantry with heavy armor to back them up, rescued the pilot, and then left with (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

(...) The arms look way too skinny and small in comparison to the legs, however. I don't like the little hat on its head. I like the way the shoulders look, however. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- Mark's Lego Creations (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Mecha: The Guardian

Well, it's been a while since I built a humanoid Mecha, so I might have it all wrong, but anyway... The pictures don't show what I hoped they would, but it's good enough I guess. PLMKWYT.. (URL) <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new MOC: Pulse

(...) True. I believe that all the character in the Tech Romancer game are derivative of other 'genres' of mecha (one Eva-style, one Gundam, for instance), so ours is sort of re-re-interpreted ;^) The two fighting scenes really shine as something (...)
