Re: New Mecha, The Rf-79 Tiger

whoa, thats so cool! I don't quite know what to say. (been having that problem lately) I'm always amazed by these things. IMHO you just 'uped the bar' on the level of detail. G Geordan Hankinson <geordanh@yahoo.ca> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Mecha, The Rf-79 Tiger

Hey'all! It's been awhile since I posted a new mecha, but here it is, the Byzantine Tiger, (yes it's the same one as in my story) I don't really like giving a explanation for my mecha anymore, but this one sort of begs it so here goes, My (...)   Re: Torso Action

I really like that spine idea. I know Chris was thinking of making some sort of spine as well. I remember you talking about making a mecha with a sort of pendelum action for the torso...couterbalance type concept. Though the LBB doesn't use that (...)   Re: Torso Action

Wow! Very cool Eric. Applying this system to a larger scaled mecha is ambitious. Good for you, and good luck with GG Mech! ;-) (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) hehe, one time I decided to go all of the way back to post number one and read on from there, (not all of it of course!) I went through scouring for mecha pics etc, although alot of the pages they were hosted on before are now gone, :-( (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Torso Action

(...) That is very cool, very innovative, (...) I probably should on my next mecha, since it will be to scale with that design, I'll just have to figure out some sort of armour plating that shifts with it, shouldn't be *too* hard, :-) (...) (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Torso Action

I like this concept, of course natural like a spine, having a pivot mechanism in the hips or base of the spine really helps with the way a Mech stands. (URL) it a try. Here's a lil' somethin' new I'm working on. GG Mech: (URL) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
