Re: New MOC: PSU (Police Support Unit)

(...) LOL! I'm not really raising the bar, I'm just building what I like. I'm sure some of the other mecha builders could design a better quadruped police tank... ;-) (...) Thank you! Getting the pilot in there was the biggest challenge, once I got (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: PSU (Police Support Unit)

Thanks Travis! The mini-gun was a last minute sorta thing. I actually envisioned this mecha having six back mounted grenades which were made of those axle pieces. After I saw this would be too large, I started making it smaller. (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: PSU (Police Support Unit)

Excellent as usual, Mladen. I especially love the underside-- real bug-like, just like Shirow tends to design. It's funny, though-- I know the Shirow piece you referenced, but I don't actually remember a lot of walking tanks actually _in_ GITS (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) form. The whole police thing is interesting.. something i have been wanting to do is build for a long time is a whole diaorama(spelling?) of a semi-futuristic city (ala ghost in the shell or new dominion tank police) And have mecha action (...)   Re: New MOC: PSU (Police Support Unit)

Mladen, you have got to stop raising the bar on us. Just as I thought I could hurdle it and catch you with another great design, the hurdle goes up another six inches and trips me! :) Seriously, this is one fantastic design! I, too, was shocked to (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: PSU (Police Support Unit)

Just saw this on brickshelf. Looks good. I like the look of the legs and the mini gun. Travis Dickinson (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) new, (...) work (...) the (...) You're too kind Geordan. ;-) The leg design is actually a sort of preview, if you like, of what I'm going to be doing during Dec.-Jan. The MDP (Mobile Defence Platform) will have very "interesting" legs. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) and (...) of (...) Thanks Borislav! Nah, Shirow's [1] Fuchikoma is much better. Hehe... I guess it doesn't really look aggressive. The "Police" probably likes irony... ;-) (...) Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) Here's the "non-screwed up" (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: PSU (Police Support Unit)

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! Just when I thought it was going to be a while before you show us something new, wham! Beautiful! The greeblies on the underside of the knee rule, not to mention the awesome side mounted cannons, this is superb, the colours work (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: PSU (Police Support Unit)

(...) by itself! I have no idea what is the relationship between Masumane Shirow and the PSU, but the PSU looks muck better. You have made an extremely nice use of the jet ski handles and the little Technic piece posing as a machine cannon. For some (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(URL) greatly by works of [1] Masumane Shirow. Also, I had to use all these red and white parts in a model! ;-D Mladen Pejic, over and out! (2 URLs) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.military)

Re: I miss the old LUGNET...

Heh! I agree with both of you guys! BTW Larry, who made you LUGNET's policeman? You just wish you had as much creativity and talent as Eric. :-P (...) (23 years ago, 3-Nov-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

I agree with everything said here Eric, (...) Truth be told, I only saw this recently, a few weeks ago, I meant to pass on my congrats through e-mail but forgot completely, sorry. :-( (...)   Re: Dark Gundam site update

Yo! I figure why not make a "Commission" page in the rare hopes of a sale. At my Shows I sometimes sell framed pictures, and I have gotten paid to bring my Mech-bot to schools and libraries, so I'm quasi-profesh at this point. I always say half my (...)   Re: three new photos

(...) Oooops sorry. (...) I have been checking over the fan art section of Gundam.com (there are great examples of purposely changed Gundams in order to convey different "traits") and I found this image by M: (URL) person has to love these helpful (...)   Re: three new photos

Bobby, Oh, sure, I know it, but I was rather thinking of lego-specific images, in order to see how others had done hair, and other feminine traits. Sort of glad I didn't find anything, though, even though I feel there are problems with my project. (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Dark Gundam site update

(...) Having just moved to an area where broadband is not yet availble, I find myself not wanting to stay online waiting for pages to load. But alas patience is a virtue is it not? So I just took a gander at your update. In the words of Homer, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MS-06F Zaku and Website Teasers

(...) Na, still got the valk although it is now a VF-1A Hikaru/Rick. I had been making a white valk until I realized Lego doesn't make a few pieces that I need in white, so I just did it in grey. I'm trying to see if I have enough parts to do a Max (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: marsbase update...

(...) Well, sort of. There is space for the pilot. But not much more than that. I know you like to see the internal systems, but I just never seem to find the time. Also, seems like my structures always seem to small to really have any room for LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
