  Re: Mystery Mech spotted

(...) Mark -- that's a great design -- does it have an interior? Looks a smidge small for one, but I never write it off w/o asking. :) It looks very - Locust-like ala Battletech. I'd suggest Grasshopper but they're just small locust. ;) It's a sweet (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mystery Mech spotted

(...) Mark, this is a great design! I'll have to get back to you on the name though...the immediate name that popped into my head was the 'Mantid'. I think that's due to the color, but at 4am, it's hard to be certain. :) Have a good one and keep on (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mystery Mech spotted

There's been an unidentified mech spotted. Take a look and see for yourself; (URL) there's more. You see I haven't come up with a good name yet and so I thought it might be fun to see what LUGNETters come up with. So e-mail me (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey Geordan....

(...) It seems to be there now, but the picture links don't work. Looks like The Founders haven't added your Brickshelf album yet. Congratulations! -Dave (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey Geordan....

(...) Sweet! I wonder who else is new, how come your pic isn't in the main index? -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

Nice mecha. You seem to be improving and growing with each new mecha you make. Unlike Mark I like the feet. I dunno maybe it's the weird sort of organic feel to them? As with everyone else I think the head rocks! Keep them coming. Other thoughts. In (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: site update - 10/22/2001

WOW! I like it! Reminds me of the aliens from the FF movie. The legs are especially good; those Battle Droid torsos are great, eh? ;-D Excellent work as usual, Travis. (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Adding My Site's Link

(...) Here's the deal: I have rcv'd requests from AFOLs, but can't give them top priority today. I'm facing tasks in line ahead of LUGNET. One of those tasks involves making it easier to prevent log-jams like this in the future. I don't expect this (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

In lugnet.build.mecha, Joel Dobbins writes: I like it. alot. I love the head it gives it an animalistic feel. the arms are real cool but right below the shoulders seems a bit skinny. the guns are nice too. I love the back. my only suggestion goes to (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

(...) __very reverently__ Thank you.. Grand Admiral.. now if you'll excuse me I have to put my legs on backwards so I can bow... :-) (...) Okay.. I'll put that in the section of my brain entitled, "things that are wrong with my mecha" (it's getting (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

(...) Thanks! I actually hadn't planned on using that head at first.. but I sort of just stumbled onto it.. :-) (...) Thanks again! <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

Beautiful I particuarily love your cockpits. The round bubble on the belly is especially nice. Also the Anti-infantry cockpit is outstanding. (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

(...) I really like the head on this one. Very sinister. IMO, the feet are way too long, but I do like the clips on the end of the toes. The arms look fine up to the shoulder, and then there's about a 1x2 length of brick that makes the joint look (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

(...) Looks great, Joel! I like the almost feral look of the head...it's amazing what just a couple of Lego parts can convey if done properly... Very nice model overall! -Dave (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Phantom

Finally! and all I can say is Wow!! I didn't know it had a cockpit, sweet! Your feet on all of your mecha are awesome, this is no exception, the head is cool too. My only thought would be that the arms a tad thin, but it still looks great! Keep it (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
