  Re: Macross Valkyrie fans Rejoice!

(...) and (...) I don't want to argue or anything but I've played with all of the new Yamato Valks and they all seem exceedingly cheap to me. Yes they are more posable and have better proportions but the quality of the toys seems like a shadow of (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Sneak peek: SR-311 "Firebolt"

(...) That seems like it has a lot of poseability in a small package. Well Done! The color scheme is nice too. Not many red mecha out there. :^) I like the li'l Uzi shaped guns. They're very simple, but right away you get the impression of what (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Macross Valkyrie fans Rejoice!

(...) Bah. The Bandai version is less poseable, less detailed, less accurate, and you can't even put the gunpod on the bottom in fighter mode. (...) No I won't. You can have those. :^P ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- Mark's Lego Creations (URL) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Thanks! it's actually red. my cheap digital camera renders it near orange though and i'm still trying to figure out color balancing in photoshop to get it just right. ace (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Sneak peek: SR-311 "Firebolt"

Hello all, I'm mostly a lurker on lugnet with an occasional post here and there. I thought I'd finally step up the podium and show what I got: the SR-311 "Firebolt". I've shown this mech at the last LUGOLA meeting and to a few other people online. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Heh-- if this is what the guy was talking about that's pretty silly :) Considering that the voted sites were all on the order of 10 votes (nothing above 20) and he was saying they were thousands :) Far more interesting would be the top 10 (...)   Re: I've lost a fan! LOL! ;-)

(...) Whoa, cool, I'm first ranked! Didn't know that! BTW, mine's ranked higher than Mladen's because they gave me all the big numbers. :-) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Valkyrie VF-1S with FASTpack Armament

(...) Thanks for the compliments. I've always had plans to do a web site, just been too lazy to whip it together. I had been talking at length with Dave Thomas Jr. about doing something together or linked with him but that was mostly casual (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Valkyrie VF-1S Photography

(...) LFB, The pictures were taken via regular photography. I recently received a Canon A20 Digital Camera as a gift and I must say the little thing is awesome. Sun, good to see these pix, I remember you saying when you had a chance you would post some photos, which BTW I had to look very closely because they are just so awesome looking. Wow is it Real or Memorex! Like the others have said a clean design. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Valkyrie VF-1S with FASTpack Armament

Sun, Fab work, as usual. A fine additon to your other models. The detailing is precise and uncluttered, and the use of ball joints adds to the expressive quality, while not being obtrusive. I also am astounded by the quality of the photos (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Valkyrie VF-1S with FASTpack Armament

(...) or rendering...it's really very nicely done, crisp and highlights all the parts very well. I especially like how you got around the legs and feet--the "feel" is right. It's just too bad TLC doesn't make these kinds of things. best LFB (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: I've lost a fan! LOL! ;-)

Hah! That's pretty freaky, Mladen. Well, I did a quick search to see what your "ex-fan" was talking about and I found this: (URL) does list you, Mladen, as 4th but that doesn't make sense because you have more votes than the top site. Maybe I'm not (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
