thanks. I used joint desgns that I found here: (URL) (although my wrist is a bit different, the pieces into which the "fingers" are plugged are topped with a 2x1 with center stud, which is attached to the back of a 1x1 headlight brick. (...) Gundam & Armored Core are my biggest influences. I really like the mono eye of most Jion Mobile suits and it helped keep the head small. (...) I plan to build larger minifig scale mecha eventually. I definitlly felt confined by the size (...) (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I just got the new S@H catalog and was checking out the Harry Potter stuff and noticed what looks like 2 Bionicle . . . "balls", for lack of a better term, atop the train platform. They are light grey. (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hi John You have made some very good mechs, the 003A being a favorite. Everything from the torso and up looks great. The MSs have a very strong Zeon feel to them :) I would suggest experimenting with different kind of mech sizes though. You may find (...) (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
