(...) What do you mean? I used ball n' sockets on Enforcer, Helldog II, DoomRaven, Spidertank, Hardygun, and Colossus. (...) Thanks! :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 18-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 08/17/01

(...) Great Job, Mark! The mecha is very nice. I like the entire design. The wings on the knees threw me at first, but I grew to like them. The wings on the back are a nice touch. Glad to see you hopping into the ball socket groove with the rest of (...) (23 years ago, 18-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 08/17/01

(...) Thanks. :^) (...) There are a couple of ball-joints back there. (...) The Mecha is attached to the ship with a technic friction peg that plugs into the hole you can see on its back. The hinging is just to hold the legs up, and the arms in (...) (23 years ago, 18-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) P.S. Thanks to Andrew Todd Amacher for the skeleton design, and thanks to Mladen for posting the gun clip idea last week. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 18-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 08/17/01

Daaaang Mark! That is freaking awesome! The poses of the Mecha were great! A few questions: How are the 'wings' of the mecha attached? How is the mecha attached to the ship? I see some sort of hinging something that goes around the legs, but how (...) (23 years ago, 18-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: New Mecha Site

(...) those are pretty cool. I especially like the tank and big red. The way that big red opens up to reval the pilot is really amazing. I wouldn't have guessed that it wouild open so much. I don't think that the added height to accomidate the pilot (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Dinosaur sets are out

(...) Agreed, Fredrick! You are on the same track as the mech builders of Los Angeles. We're working on ways to incorporate dino parts into our mecha.   New Mecha Site

I've been searching through Brickshelf for a long time, and have building my own mecha for some time based on things I find there, and put together a site recently after all this time: (URL) things are coming as I find them, as many pics and (...)   Re: 08th MS Team inspired...

(...) I guess I need to be more prolific if I'm going to be in the mecha hall of fame ;-) Compared to the others I have so few constructions, big though they may be. Wish I had more free time to build and keep in touch with this forum. "K" (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Brickfest 2002, perhaps... Almost seems like a prime directive violation to share technology, unless of course you are already warp capable... or have the spamcake drive, then it's ok. "K" (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
