Thanks! My mom currently has possession of 2/3 of my lego sets so mostly what I have to work with is Technic and Model Team pieces, hence the predominant beams-and-pins design of my big mech. I'd, like to take this opportunity to bow deeply to MP's Mad Mecha-building Skillz. all of your designs are amazing, and this one is no exception. (...) I think the point was the availability of orange pieces. Orange isn't as widely available as green for instance. It makes building a challenge when a rare color is featured prominently.
