I'd, like to take this opportunity to bow deeply to MP's Mad Mecha-building Skillz. all of your designs are amazing, and this one is no exception. Hey Eric it's good to have a new mecha builder in the group. I can't do Lcad anything so I'm always impressed by Lcad mechas. The biggest one looks like a good combination of mecha ideas. You've taken some of the "classic" (for lack of a better (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I think the point was the availability of orange pieces. Orange isn't as widely available as green for instance. It makes building a challenge when a rare color is featured prominently. (...) in design, or at least I believe God had His hand in designing the mecha but nonetheless, it is certainly a unique design and also a unique way to use those pod racer fins for the cooling units. Yes the mirage is quite incredible I think. I hadn't seen it yet till the other day and I almost fell off my chair when I did! The only thing though, The ankle joint doesn't look to be very strong at all ( two click hinges?! ) So I'm wondering if it (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
