I like it!, I did'nt read this entire thread, but I use Photoshop 5.0 and I know there is a filter effect for "Lighting effect" I forgot exactly, but you can point the direction of the light and everything! Pretty cool stuff....plus there is (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) That's the kind of model that makes me smack my head and ask, "whwy didn't I think of that?" I like it. :-, And like everyone else has said so far, the use of the battle droid parts is brilliant. It looks like you got a lot of SNOT action (...)   Re: More Gundam Action

(...) The picture is intended to be a blur experiment as much as a cannon firing. I'm working on another picture that is exclusively for cannon firing and backblast lighting effects. As for only seeing Gundam Wing... GW is kind of low budget since (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: More Gundam Action

(...) Using Photoshop (a very old version too): 1)draw a very light blue line about 10 pixels thick 2)use smudge (finger) tool set to "Lighten Only" and 75% pressure. 3)smudge outward from the line, like making little light streaks at about 45 (...) (...) I was sort of imagining he was in low power rapid fire mode, trying to track a fast moving target (hence the blur), at least this is what I settled on when another attempt at a big blossoming beam looked cheesy because it didn't light up the (...) I would have never thought to have used them the way you did, thanks for showing off your (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Droooooool, that is so frickin nice, holy cow, wow, drooo...oool sweet!!!...!!! I love it! the battle droids for feet! WOW!   site update - 5/31/2001

I added the Bison to my site. It doesn't look like a bison, but I couldn't think of anything else. LMKWYT. There is a link to the Bison at the top of the home page. Since I cannot get rid of the pop-up ad windows on my site, I plan to relocate it in (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Pretty cool... though I think a big burly gun needs big burly beams coming out of it. :^) Beef up the beams a bit and I think you'll have it. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: More Gundam Action

I would like to apologize. I was reading Mladen's post about a "link it to my universe" and infringement on his stuff, and it occurred to me that I know another similar case: mine. On my website I have used Brian Cooper's calendar, page format, and (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: More Gundam Action

I personally like the dark tone to it. But that's just an opinion. The darkness around the gundam draws your attention to the BAR which is quite bright and seeing as that is probably the obvious focal point that Brian would want, it works pretty (...)   Re: More Gundam Action

Very nice indeed! But then again, such a comment would be rather useless, since you know that already. Here are some ideas for similar images: 1. In Gundam Wing (which is the only MS series I have ever seen) the mobile suits are fixed while firing. (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

So sorry. thanks for the info about the movie. Some of that stuff is pretty (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Six legged mecha!!!!! MAP!! Mladen style

Appleseed is an anime MOVIE, so therefore the only way to watch it is by renting it. And the movie doesn't really explain a whole lot about the mobile platform. Like I said, I was inspired by it, doesn't mean that I exactly followed every "rule" or (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
