Thanks Kyle! <sighs> Like I said in my reply to Brian's post, the camouflage was just the result of me fooling around. That's why a placed it last. (...) (23 years ago, 24-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

  Re: New Mecha with SIMRAF

Thanks Brian! I already did the green, grey, and dark grey colour scheme with my "Goblin" and "Chieftain" mecha. Military paint schemes get old quick. I wanted to try something different. The camouflage, ahem, I mean SIMRAF (;-P), was just made at (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha with SIMRAF

Mechnificent. As usual excellent details (what, no rifles this time?). I think the paint scheme must be the production prototype version for the rollout ceremony or maybe the elite palace guard colors (a special order from the factory by some (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

YES!!! WOW! I really like the Veriestsu. The mecha has a bulky design which works oh-so wonderfully! Ever since I saw your Turtle, I knew you obviously took a different direction with multi-legged mecha. Anime influences can definitely be seen in (...)   Silicon Psyche update (5/23/01)

Check out the "Quadrachnid" droid host unit on the Vedra page. While your there some of you may notice that a few MOCs in that section are gone. That's because I've decided to phase out all "manned" vehicles - a direction that the Vedra has been (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

That is correct, but weren't tanks also used in desert warfare, a la Africa during WWII (ex. Tubruk (sp?)) and U.S.S.R. (ex. Kirsk), and during Operation Desert Storm, as well. ASMs can still fight in urban settings, it's just that they were made (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

Thanks Bryce! Actually the accuracy of the cannon is decreased by more th 50% when the mecha is airborne. However, the cannon is already so advanced that it can still shoot reasonably well. (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

Well, if this thing going to replace tanks, it's going to have be deployed in the same environments as tanks :) Glad you like the Scimitar. As for current projects, I was working on a VTOL troop transport. That's going to be scrapped because I don't (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
