(...) All the wallpaper and view backgrounds are POV-generated. With the exception of Convoy, they were modeled in MLCad and then L3P'd with the other models. For Convoy, I used Terragen -- though if I were to do it again, I'd just use the pattern (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

First and foremost, "Moonbase Io" is now called "Silicon Psyche". Why? Basically because the villians in my story are big, sentient robots. (...) gives them sort of an alien presence. They are also somewhat surreal in their ornateness and air of fragility. (URL) built about a dozen 20 inch tall fully transformable lego versions of this thing years ago (it has a blockyness that is favorable to lego). Never could get the face right though. Yes, the series has more labors in it, tho its hard to find the eps anywhere... took me over a month to finally get the 7 original OAVs, 16 second OAVs, and 47 episodes of the TV series... Actually its an antennae. The piece should be one of those dark gray bars (Lightsaber piece) that come in some of the Star Wars sets. I don't actually know the identity of the part used in the model.
