  Re: Site Update (mecha!)

Thanks Brian! Actually those yellow things are auto-cannons, if I was making smoke ejectors they would be way shorter. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Site Update (mecha!)

Thanks Kyle! Actually the mecha is quite stable on most, non-slick surfaces such as carpet, paper, and etc. However it does begin to slip and fall on very slick surfaces, such as a kitchen table. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) that it's poisonous and deadly. Great detail bits. Those yellow tubes pointing in several angles are generally called "smoke ejectors" when you see them on tanks - creates a smoke screen to hide tactical maneuvers. I'd hate to see this thing (...)   Re: Site Update (mecha!)

Yea! Mass-destruction at it's greatest! Does it support it's weight well or does it fall after 2 minutes (My mecha have been know to do this...) BTW The pictures suck! J/K Accually you did a pretty good job photoing all that black! Keep 'em comin'! (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Site Update (mecha!)

Thanks Bryce! It is about a foot tall, I guess. My inspiration was just to build a really large 6 legged mecha, but inspiration also came from Masamune Shirow; ever seen Appleseed the anime, notice that big Mobile Platform mecha at the end... I can (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) works well but doesn't seem like it should. You've avoided the "bumble bee" look. How tall is it? What was your inspiration on this one? It doesn't look like anything I've seen before...although it does remind me of the crab guys in Dark (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Dark Gundam 03

That gundam looking thingy looks tight but I have not seen it in any series of Gundam I have seen. Still an awesome custom. Believe me I have seen ALLOT of gundam.   Re: Mecha model link

Are you referring to the red 4 legged mecha? If so, I still like your model better, this one looks way too curvy and not as evil as your mecha. The armour is kinda cool though, something you could add to your future models... (...) (24 years ago, 27-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(URL) was surfing from the link Brian Cooper posted and found this one. Go to the bottom of the second column on the right and click on the link. Looks like I may have to do a MKII of my 02 mecha. Bryce McGlone (24 years ago, 27-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Brian, This one looks very big. Are the black saucer parts below the head part of the neck or just holding the head for now? I look forward to seeing the completed project. Please keep us updated. Bryce (24 years ago, 27-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
