  Re: New White Tiger Mecha

(...) Mladen, this one is way cool. I love the cockpit! And the head. And the limbs. And, and...oh heck, it's a cool model. :-, Looking back at your older stuff, I can say that you are definitely picking up more and more skills. Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 6-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New White Tiger Mecha

Ok, ok after this I'll stop posting updates this often. Anyway, this is another mecha I built after being inspired by Patlabor (yes, I am an obsessive fan) and one of the mecha from Front Mission 3. Enjoy and LMKWYT!!! Mladen Pejic, over and out! (...) (25 years ago, 6-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

ROTFL!!! Sorry, heh... It's just that the title, "I got yer Technic beams RIGHT HERE!" sounds like something a discruntled mini-fig would say in some twisted Lego shoot-em-up movie.... Or maybe I'm just crazy... ~Nick (URL) (25 years ago, 6-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mecha plans - I got yer Technic beams RIGHT HERE!

(...) I just bought the small Bull's catapult from the new Castle sets...and it uses 4 1x1 Technic beams for its wheels. Set is less than $10 at Wal-mart. Aaron In the immortal words of Socrates..."I drank WHAT?" (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha plans

(...) OOOooooo.... maybe I'll try that. I seem to have quite a few of those li'l buggers in the collection back home. They seemed to include those with almost every space set back when that part was new. I only hope I have enough of the same color. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: "Jackal" Heavy Assault Mecha

The "riot gun" or RBG as you guys (and gals, we can't be sexist now can we!) call it also has a little opening in the top to let the used up shells exit, this is just a detail I thought would add to the gun. The 2 "SRM6" are LRM6 in my book, but you (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha plans

(...) Actually, you can get at least 2 of those, IIRC, in the Blaze Attack set. I use tons of those and I think that was the best value I could find on short notice. Best of luck. Jeremiah "I'll work on my site someday, I swear!" VanderMark (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) On the contrary, you have done used a couple of design elements that have me kicking myself, like the "clip" on the BFG (oops, excuse my language, I meant RBG) and the SRM-6s that come out to different levels (mine were always flat.)
