Re: build.mecha poll! plus: preview and an opinion on Space World!

This is a cool idea. I'm 30 (31 on Nov 17th) and married to Karla. We have 2 daughters (5 and 2 weeks) and a yellow lab. I live in Los Angeles, Ca. Right now I'm only building mecha although I love space. I've also dabbled in Lego sculpture though (...) (24 years ago, 7-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey Jim! I'm Moish, 30 years and growing, live in San Francisco, and haven't posted for quite some time, but am building frantically.   build.mecha poll! plus: preview and an opinion on Space World!

I have long been an avid reader of build.mecha, but I still don't know much about the other readers. I think would be nice to sort of get to know the people who these models are coming from, so when (if) you respond to this message, include any (...) (24 years ago, 7-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Warthog Mark II, Xerxes, and Yetrigar-3 new MOC Mechs

Hi Dave. I really like the Yetrigar, with all the trans-green. Very cool. It reminds me of the Iron Giant when he changed into his "war" mode. Your other mecha are also very nice. Good job. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.loc.us.ca.la, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: SIAM-Mecha photo (Alternate 7151 Sith Infiltrator model)

Hi Ashley, That's pretty cool. It's very hard to make a mecha with the limitations of the parts from only one set, and I think you've done a good job. Lucasfilm missed out on a toy marketing opportunity. Transforming Sith Infiltrator! ;^D ~Mark (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)

Re: SIAM-Mecha photo (Alternate 7151 Sith Infiltrator model)

Great Job, Ashley! I love alternate model ideas, especially mechs! it appears to be a functional model (articulation, etc) that also has quite a bit of style.
