I have long been an avid reader of build.mecha, but I still don't know much
about the other readers. I think would be nice to sort of get to know the
people who these models are coming from, so when (if) you respond to this
message, include any personal infromation you are willing to disclose. I
myself am from northwestern PA (USA), am 15, and have no siblings to wreck
my LEGO creations.
Also, I have a mech on the way. I have completed the limbs and head,
leaving the hand-held accesories and the body. I hope to have that up on
brickshelf by Thanksgiving.
My two cents on the Space World thing: perhaps there could be a role-playing
element put into that too. That might attract enough people on a day-to-day
basis that advertising would allow the site to pay for itself! Now, don't
get me wrong, I'm not saying it should be a profit orginization, I'm just
saying I doubt antone would want to shell out ten extra bucks a month on top
of having to keep the darn thing running.
