  Re: Mecha plans

(...) There are four black ones in the new Castle catapult (@$5.00). It's a great parts set. Josh Spaulding josh_spaulding@hotmail.com (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha plans

(...) OOOooooo.... maybe I'll try that. I seem to have quite a few of those li'l buggers in the collection back home. They seemed to include those with almost every space set back when that part was new. I only hope I have enough of the same color. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: "Jackal" Heavy Assault Mecha

The "riot gun" or RBG as you guys (and gals, we can't be sexist now can we!) call it also has a little opening in the top to let the used up shells exit, this is just a detail I thought would add to the gun. The 2 "SRM6" are LRM6 in my book, but you (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha plans

(...) Actually, you can get at least 2 of those, IIRC, in the Blaze Attack set. I use tons of those and I think that was the best value I could find on short notice. Best of luck. Jeremiah "I'll work on my site someday, I swear!" VanderMark (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha plans

(...) No problem. (...) I can't think of any small sets. Ironically, the smallest technic beam seems to usually come in the largest sets. (Flying Ninja's Fortress, for example) (...) to see the finished model. (...) Something I haven't seen anybody (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: "Jackal" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) On the contrary, you have done used a couple of design elements that have me kicking myself, like the "clip" on the BFG (oops, excuse my language, I meant RBG) and the SRM-6s that come out to different levels (mine were always flat.) Keep up (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A couple more new Mechs from MGLM

(...) I like it too. I only wish it was easier to photograph black LEGO. They never show form very well. --Colin (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Now that's what I call a mecha!

(...) Sounds cool! I'm still not sure if I like the throwbots yet... The only one I feel is worth buying is either Ski or the new Melenia one (however ya spell it.) Oh well. I just need more legos... ::counts money:: Anyone willing to give me some (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mecha plans

I was just looking at Colin Gutierrez' webpage and I think I may use his hand design on my mecha (Thanks for the instructions Colin) (URL) know of a small, inexpensive set where I can get a couple 1x1 Technic beams? My collection is old enough that (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: "Jackal" Heavy Assault Mecha

Thanks Colin, but you don't have to be nice with me... I know any one of your mecha are 50-75% better than anything I will ever, ever build <kiddin'>. Seriously that new white mecha of your's is (as high-schoolers would say) HYPE!!! (...) It (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Now that's what I call a mecha!

Oh, and I was looking at the other pics on his site (he apparently takes a lot of inspiration from Gundam... me too!) and he had one where he used some ThrowBots pieces to build a skeleton.
