  Re: New mecha (sort of)

Thanks. It's gone through some additional modifications, but I'm not sure these are permanent. Regardless, I'm pleased with the overall look of the model. However, I think my model pales in view of the awesome designs that have been showing up. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha (sort of)

Nice additions Travis! I think I like this mecha even more than the first time I saw it on your website and slowly went through the .DAT file. I think your mecha has one of the coolest torso's I've ever seen; I just love the hatch and the lights and (...) (24 years ago, 14-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New mecha (sort of)

This started off as my Soldier design with feet added. I then added stuff to the torso, which led to changes to the legs. I keep making changes to it, which I suppose is a the drawback and advantage to having the model actually in your hands. Once (...) (24 years ago, 14-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: First Mecha

I like it! It's much better than my first mecha, Mecha Chicken Walker, which can be found at: (URL) <aric5@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:G0Msyt.9MH@lugnet.com... (...) but (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  First Mecha

Hey Everybody! Here is my first original mecha. It partly Gundam based, but it doesn't look like any Mecha I know. Anyway, here it is. (URL) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam GP02A

(...) Beautiful, beautiful model. I hadn't seen your site before. I am blown away. I feel like the first time I went to Karim's site...and all my Lego is still packed in the garage! I am very curious about how you do your joints. Also the legs are (...) (24 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Well, Dave, once again you have created a work of art. I eagerly await HeavyArms Custom. That's one of my favorites! ~Mark (24 years ago, 7-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam GP02A

WOW! So cool! Excellent job, David! The legs have to be some of the best I have ever seen. The torso is awesome as well. WOW! (...) (24 years ago, 7-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Gundam GP02A

Well, I decided to give up on the shoulder boosters and the huge shield and just post my latest gundam as is. It's 15.5" tall, and very stable, even more so than my Zaku (which was only 12" tall). To see the GP02A, go to (URL) You have to scroll (...) (24 years ago, 7-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Three new mecha!

(...) Two of these... (URL) two of these... (URL) in some extra bricks for stability. The legs flop around a bit if you pick it up, but it's perfectly sturdy once you set it down on its feet. The gears on the back lower the cockpit. ~Mark (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Three new mecha!

(...) Steering assembly parts? How does that work? I cannot tell from your photos. Also which axis does the hip turn on? (ie; does it only provide turn out?) And finally do the gears on the back turn the legs out? Bryce McGlone (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Three new mecha!

I didn't use click-hinges on the hips of my Juggernaut... I used technic steering assembly parts. ~M (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Three new mecha!

(...) Good :) (...) Nope they are not at all. But I added a long plate to the back of each foot to mak it stable. (...) If you dou, us more than on click hinge per joint. (...) --Me (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
