  Re: New mecha: Tyr

Hey, this is a good one! Is that tan, or dark tan or something? I like those white slopes too! I started to realize more about this build when I looked at the pictures of the side view. Good work! Eric Sophie (16 years ago, 7-Feb-08, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: Tyr

(...) Thanks, Richie As far as the shoulders, they were made oversized on purpose. There are a couple of old Battletech designs such as the Charger, Griffin, and the Hatamoto that had armor baffles on their shoulders. Glad you liked it!! -Jon (16 years ago, 7-Feb-08, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: Tyr

(...) Nice work, Jon! I particularly like the choice of colours - subtle, but interesting. One minor criticism: the shoulders seem a little broad, a studs width of two off each side would help, I think. Spotlighted! Cheers Richie Dulin (16 years ago, 7-Feb-08, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Thanks for sharing this MOC again, Eric. It's always good to see the full range of poses a MOC can achieve. I find (URL) this pose> particularly striking, although I wonder if it would look more dynamic with the right arm up a bit higher (is (...) (16 years ago, 21-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

I got a chance to take some more photos of the Grelnix. I also learned a bit about how it can be posed, check out the photos: (URL) to visit the main Gallery>> (URL) Eric Sophie> (16 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Thanks for the comments on the Pitbull, E! The wraith I was referring to is this one. (URL) you can tell, this would be a bit more difficult to do justice to. -Jon (16 years ago, 16-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Hey Jon, thank you checking out the Grelnix. As your collection grows, you'll be making bigger and bigger mechs too! About the Wraith, I checked online and I found a few different ones, so I am not sure which one you mean. Is it this one: (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mech, The Pitbull

Hey this is really cool! You did great with all those wedge plates and the colors. I like me some Omni Mech, so this is very good to me. The way you mounted those guns around the front of the mid section is a nice touch. Good to see what you made as (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) -snip Lookin good, E ! In answer to your question posed in your last post to me, I gave it a lot of thought, I think the Wraith would be a challenge to build, not sure I'm up to it yet! -Jon (16 years ago, 14-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New Mech, The Pitbull

Re: Gla Gla's Lego König Monster (looking for pictures)

Gla Gla's Lego König Monster (looking for pictures)

Hello, I'm new here so I hope I'm posting this in the correct location. Back in 2004 Gla Gla posted pictures of his Lego König Monster on Brick Shelf. Sometime in 2005 he closed his account. I've been able to locate most of his pictures in the (...) (16 years ago, 7-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Season's Greetings Marco! (...) The Rizmit was always meant to be cartoony and it made use of those kinds of proportions for 'its' looks. The Beeesh to me, was meant to look and be like a little gremlin. The Grelnix was designed to fit (...) (17 years ago, 30-Dec-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Hi Dave! I tried to maintain a smooth look through out the build. Using as many rounded slopes as I could. The obscure parts like the tow truck hitches were some of the first parts I played around with to come up with the look. Thanks for (...) (17 years ago, 30-Dec-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Hey Kevin, nice to hear from you! Happy New Year. After I published pictures of the Grelnix to Brickshelf, I went to your Inchworm 3 and 4 galleries then stared at the pictures trying to figure out how you made them work! More, on that later, (...)
