I've found Colin Gutierrez's page to be of great value in building hip joints. (URL) I think the head is the most difficult. I like Heavy Gear, because it has very utilitarian designs, like real military vehicles and mecha will look like in the "near future". Of course, the same can be said for Gundam, but they are more like what military vehicles and mecha will look like (...) (24 years ago, 26-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
