Re: Looking Gla Gla pics and Brickshelf Names.

(...) sugegasa translates to sedge hat. that's his screen name, that's all I know of hand. here's his cool blog: (URL) ( see the hat ? ) cheers, Joseph (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Looking Gla Gla pics and Brickshelf Names.

Did anyone happen to save all of Gla Gla's folder before he took it off of Brickshelf? If so please let me know. Thanks. Also I have my normal list of Brickshelf & MOC Pages names that I'd love to have real names and/or email addresses. BRICKSHELF (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Zaku MS-06A Mobile Suit by Charlie Citrin

(...) I hadn't thought of that, but now that you mention it I agree. It does have that classic "use normal parts" feel. I guess that's another point in its favor. (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: First set of pics uploaded! MSZ-006 (prototype)

That is really impressive Jas. I'm just amazed at how creating you guys can be with this SNOT concept. Is this one articulated? How posable is it? What kind of joint do you have in the hip that lets the legs splay outward like that? I wouldn't even (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My first original Mech - the Minator

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, the legs do scizzor. When in the squatting position the legs are in their full collapsed position and the mech more or less rests on the upper ankle joint. When standing I insert a pin in the upper ankle which (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My first original Mech - the Minator

Hi Ken, thanks for sharing! I got to agree with Jas, for a first mech, this isn't bad. I'm looking at the supports in the legs and it looks like if you pivot something around that is what makes the legs change position. Am I right? I like how the (...)   Re: dot mecha curator request

(...) Hey Suz, As I've noticed a great deal more activity from you than we've seen lately... I posted about 2 months ago asking for a newsgroup and curatorship for a PennLUG newsgroup. Any chance you could lend a hand on that? Oh, and congrats to (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My first original Mech - the Minator

Hey Ken, Nice work for you first attempt at a mech, I really like the level of articulation you have achieved. I take it the leg has the "scissor action" to it as it bends, which makes for a highly posable, and well balanced frame. What sets did you (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

My first original Mech - the Minator

Inspired by a lot of the great mechs you guys have done I actually decided to disassemble some of my display models and see if I could build something equally as cool. (URL) I spent probably 25 hours fooling around with this thing before I was happy (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Simply stunning Jas. I really like the (URL) photo shoot pic>. Gives a really good feel for size. Mark (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
