(URL) SR12> (multiple images linked above, keep clicking "Next") Builders Notes: At one point I collected a bunch of shiny, black and rounded parts, because they had a unique shiny, black and rounded quality. It took quite a while to develop a mecha (...) (19 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: New 2006 space/mecha sets

(...) Danny, The smaller dinos are a single molded part. Starting with sets in the $10 range, the dinos are multiple parts with racheting click hinge connections. Once these parts become feasable to buy in bulk, THEN Bryce will consider using them. (...) (19 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Yep. Spotted 7704 and 7705 in two TRUs in the past two days. Sadly, I think these are the only two sets being stocked. $19.99 and $29.99 respectively. -Dave (19 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Delta - another infantry support bot

During the building period of a rather big Mecha (coming soon) i got stuck and fustrated. So I had to have a fast success to build me up again. This is the whole story behind Delta. The story line is here: (URL) "but the robots revolted..." Why do the humans always spin it this way. The robots were oppressed. They just wanted freedom. Their human masters were irrational and decadent. I'm rooting for the robots. Look at their (...) (19 years ago, 4-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New 2006 space/mecha sets

Hmm - cant get those in the uk on S@H - they are still focussing on starwars and the Dino 2010 range. With this Dino 2010 range - are the dinosours all one moulded peice, or are there seperate peices that might lend to some interesting creations (...)   New 2006 space/mecha sets

I'm surprised no one pointed these out yet. (URL) Saw 7705 in Toys 'R' Us as well. These things look like pretty sweet parts sets for space and mecha. Kind of bummer those freaky hair anime figs don't have helments though. The robot figs look really (...) (19 years ago, 4-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) I remember this exquisite monstrosity. It looks like he would have a definite "spring in his step". I don't know if this kind of tech could hold a toe pose for long though. It would be quite interesting to make a mecha that used tendons (...) (19 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) Cool. Definitely better than a flat foot. That's exactly what I'm talking about, although for a supermassive mecha I'd need to have this toe joint be either worm gear controlled or have an adjustable strut of some kind that forms a triangle to (...)
