  Re: New Mecha: Samuraii

(...) The Samuraii is supposed to be a DCMS prototype, so, Kyle, you hit the nail on the head with that one. (...) Well Kyle, I originally had small dark red radar dishes covering them, but they were causing other pieces to seperate, and so I (...) (19 years ago, 30-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mecha at Brickfest 2005!

(...) That sounds like a great idea. It could be a workshop, maybe, with various builders showing off their most posable mecha, and talking about what makes a good static or dynamic pose. :) (...) Sounds intriguing! I'd be more than happy to (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: Samuraii

(...) I like the little auxilliary weapon mounted to the head, that's a real classic Battletech touch. This looks like a mech the Draconis Combine might build. I like how you concealed the joints in the shoulder and hip. Just above the elbow, where (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: Samuraii

Hi Jon, Thanks for showing me that mech in person, very nice. I like it a lot, unlike that snotty kid that said he could build it better :) Very nice covering of the joints, but you have to find that right 3x2 dark red wedge plate next time you show (...)   Re: CSI: The Rizmit did it.

(...) Hold on!! You reworded the first law and through the rewording left out a critical part. it should read "A robot may not through action or inaction allow a human being to come to harm". I am an Asimov reader too! ;-) Anyway - glad to hear you (...) (19 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: CSI: The Rizmit did it.

(...) I think Asimov's three robotic laws come into play: 1) A Robot shall never carry out any action which will cause any injury to any human being. 2) A Robot shall always obey a human being's orders provided the first law is not violated. 3) A (...)   Re: CSI: The Rizmit did it.

(...) Yes it fell down and went boom. Don't worry, I just booked a show for Jama in the local town square. I'll get the robot back together. Thank you for the kind words too. I always felt the hips and upper leg sections needed to be refined. Other (...) (19 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
