I thougt it was the time to try covering a famous frame. As I didn't want to start with a large one I choose the GlaGla armature. So here is the result: (2 URLs) Tori>> I called him Tori. I had a lot of fun taking the pictures. He is quite poseable. (...) (19 years ago, 8-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX) !

  Re: Drake MkIII

Thanks for the reply. I agree, the overall look is much more pleasing. I started thinking of making Drake a carrying platform for different types of weaponery. So I could refine it even more. We'll see (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 8-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Drake MkIII

(...) <snip> (...) Don't thank me, you did the work. (...) Looking hot Marco. What I'm appreciating more than anything is how much more refined this is looking.   Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) heh, yup. I'm thinking of a terran landscape again. Dug thorough the brick and I think I'll be a lot short if I go for a city scape. But yeah, I'm on it man. Take care man. Mark (19 years ago, 8-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Excellent work Mark, great the cockpit, inside and out. As with all your mechs, the legs and feet really standout. Now you just need that street-scene you were talking about. Nice fighter too, you've been a busy man. -Keith (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Ty, Ty, Ty (...) nah they don't go all the way through, they are mounted to a plate via a 1x2 classic hinge (...) That would look good. And yah, you guessed it. Out of the 1x inverted dk red slopes. And I didn't want to cover the stripe, so I (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

Mark, I just finished going through your Gallery. I am so amazed, humbled, and inspired all at once. The way you built this Mech is fantastic. I think it is one of my Favs from your gallery. Wait, I know it is! I can't get over the front of that (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Thanks Jeff. The doubling up of the ball joints makes a huge difference. The body is absolutely stable. Mark (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Thanks Marco. I just try to keep it fun. But yeah, you're right. I really don't try to make it look like anything. I prefer to keep it origional and keep the cannon folks at bay. (...)   Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Thank you, that means a lot. (...) yah, I have an interest in how Lego makes mecha. I think it's important because it shows us fans what kinds of restraints are on the designers. It's got to suck for them, I shudder to think what this mech (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Absolutely stunning! I love the detail on this mech. The use of the red curved slope bricks is spot on. You've really turned building these types of mechs into an artform. On a slightly related topic, I would love to see your take on the Star (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Hey Mark, you blow me away every time. That thing is so cool. I can see the relation to Warhammer, but it's original at the same time. What are the pieces you used for the gun barrels? I never saw them before... Just keep it up man, your doing (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Building Tips (was Re: Kogeru (leg framework))

(...) Hello Dave, yes I know the </build/mecha/resources (URL) section. I browsed it now and then. But when I was really new to mecha building (more then a year ago) the links didn't help me that good. I'd like to have some kind of pictured (...)   Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) I agree with all of the above. It certainly looks like a sure footed mech. Those feet look very stable, which you'd need for a mech that's as wide as this. Great job! Jeff (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Oh man that is one sweet mech. I really like the look and feel of it. I can't wait until its modded, I want to see some more shots. Take care, David (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Warhammer IIIA

(URL) I had a good time with the Kogeru construction that I went ahead and did it again, but this time with a more Mechwarrior feel. In fact, I had the image of the good old Warhammer in mind. I figured this was a good homage to that mech. Should be (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

Re: Entry - MPC - Brian Cooper - Large Mecha

(...) Thanks. I built two frames during development and reskinned the second one several times. I wanted to see if I could get a retro look. This one looks eager to fight Getter Robo G, hatchet to hatchet. All the giant robots from the 70s anime (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Entry - MPC - Brian Cooper - Large Mecha

(...) The legs on this mecha, as well as the head, remind me of the "Mazinger Z" and "Getter Robo" style robots; Actually, The head and the axe remind me of Garada K7 (URL) Are you using the same teknomeka frame for each of these creations, or do (...)
