You can get all technic parts you gonna need in order to build the ankles from current sets - if you just purchase supplementary packs you even won't have to spend much money. LEGO Technic Set 8226 "Off Roader" is a good source too. (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) ARGH! Drew, you're kidding, aren't you? :/ Are you sure you put together all sub-models as shown at the images? I built Primus BuS' Marauder. I'm finished with it down to the ankles. However, the supplied design does not hold the mech's weight - it falls over backwards when I try and stand it up. So, is there any way to do an extremely strong ankle for such a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
