  Re: Nova Series Mk1

(...) Actually, it sort of reminds me of some of the "cyborgs" from RoboCop II. It is really nice. Compact, articulate. Nice balance and sense of proportion. Yes. Sweet. Have Fun! C-Ya! Rich (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: More microstuff

Hey Chris, Just a quick note here to say that they all look fantastic, but the head on the Gremlin is just uber-bada**!! In these pics, the dark blay looks kinda like steel alongside the original. Interesting. Way hecka cool stuff! Dave S. (...) (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Nova Series Mk1

(...) Hello Pete, I'm looking for some smaller guys to acompany minifig-scale mecha as an escort. I think I found at least one type. This Nova is so sweet. Really nice done (URL) marco> (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: More microstuff

(...) Hi Chris, great work. I like the improvement in size and poseability. Allthough I liked your first squad very much (built me my own the same day) those new ones are much better. keep on building (URL) marco> (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Blacktron Rho Units

(...) Those heads rock! Very cool! Later, Chris (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: More microstuff

(...) Heh! The plastic toy soldier analogy isn't too far off. I sort of envisioned a mini mecha army of cannon fodder in designing these - to be munched on by Bryce's cankerworm or some other horrific large creation. But I'll keep the magnifying (...)   Re: More microstuff

(...) They remind me somehow of plastic army guys. Like you'd have your marching guy, your mine detector guy, your crawling guy, your belly shooting guy, your kneeling shooting guy, your bazooka guy, your machine gun guy, your commander guy, and of (...)   Blacktron Rho Units

Blacktron... (pause) As we all know, Blacktron are cool. So are robots. Combine the two and you hit paydirt. These little guys are 'Rho' series mechanoids. I think there's something rather sinister about these three: (URL) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha) !

  Nova Series Mk1

Presenting... The Nova Series Mechanoid: (URL) the love. Pete (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha) !

  Consider the Turtle...

Greetings, I know I'm probably flogging this sub-theme to death, but I'd like to present my latest turtle gallery updates: (URL) (unfinished) scaled-up versions: (URL) are good. Pete (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha) !

  Re: More microstuff

(...) I really like these Mecha. I like the colors and they seem to be very durable, playable and posable! The size is great too. (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  More microstuff

After mod: (3 URLs) The new mecha are better proportioned than the older ones, and they hold together much better. The blue one looks like a gremlin, so I named it appropriately. Enjoy! Chris (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Teknomeka Instructions

(...) The best thing about the Teknomeka instructions for experienced mecha builders is that they offer a base of joint tech that has been made very robust over several generations to support mecha from 2-2.5 feet tall. If you haven't built at this (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Teknomeka Instructions

(...) Thanks. From three years ago, seems like just yesterday: (URL) So I calculate that it took 3x365x24 = 26280 hours! ;-) K (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My First Post, and it's a biggun

(...) David, As the others have said, Welcome & Wow. I saw a good amount of your gallery the day it was posted to the weblog on Zemi.net and it's great to place a (full) name and person with the creations. I had a post written and ready to submit on (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Teknomeka Instructions

(...) Unbelievable! Your gundams really blew my socks off when I first started looking around Lugnet...I remember examining your joint tech for gundams 01 and 02, always wondering how everything fit together... Now I have the opportunity to see (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My First Post, and it's a biggun

(...) <snip> These are very impressive mecha. I'm amazed at how quickly a newcomer can turn out some quality models. I look forward to seeing how your style evolves... Later, Chris (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Teknomeka Instructions

(...) Wow Brian! This is absolutely impressive work! I haven't been on these forums in some time but this level of execution definitely requires me to come out of the woodwork. You're a brave man to put together an instruction set for a 4000 piece (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Teknomeka Instructions

(...) If you build one, I'd really like to see pictures of your progress. As for what's next, I think I'm going to try to make a 70s or early 80s style giant robot skin for the Teknomeka skeleton, to see how versatile it is. If it looks good, I'll (...)   Re: Teknomeka Instructions

Hey K, Holy freakin' cow, Batman! Gigantic project, indeed! You're taunting me with an undeniable excuse to tear down my Gunstar so I can build this bada** baby! I'll be ordering a CD shortly and am really looking forward to turning my worktable (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
