Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

(...) (URL) Best. Bionicle. Ever. [1] I still can't quite figure out some of it-- just above the little row of hard-plastic tires in this picture (and all throughout the MOC): (URL) It looks like there's some sort of cord, laced with protruding (...)   Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

As some of you know I've been building mostly Bionicle stuff the last couple years. I know it's the lil' red haired stepchild of the Lego community but whatever; I'm sure you can get over it. Anyhoo BZPower (a Bionicle duh fan based website) is (...) (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!

  Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

Nice, Kyle. This is a huge improvement over an already excellent mech. I love the missle racks and the feet are just perfect. It looks like something you would actually see out on the battlefield, not some frilly anime mecha. Very clean, nothing (...) (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Latest build after a long break!

(...) (snip) (...) Hey Jas, I love this guy! The beefyness is great! The head/face has alot of character too. My favorite part of your mech is definitely the legs. Solid. My least favorite part would be the forearms. I would add a little length on (...) (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

(...) Ummm. Now I better see why everyone wanted me to beef up my Kalate. For me a newbie, the Kalate leg design was very new but for everyone else they could see where I needed to go. Nice, thanks for the input. Brian (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

(...) Thanks for the feedback, Brian. The framework underlying the legs probably looks a lot like the bionicle legs on your Kalate OmniDroid--I just attached some bricks with Technic connections, and built the armor cladding from that base, which (...)   Re: Silver Squidy, Medieval Bot, and new Mr.Ham

(...) Nice brown work there, Lenny. Where'd you pull this design from? (...) Mr. Ham is cute. I want to pet him. (...) Squidy is cute too, but I want to shoot him. (2 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Soren's School Girl Mech

(...) Soren's work is so far out of my league. As a newbie, it blows my mind. I remember just staring ( wink, wink) at his skank bot. It was so life-like. Now he has another realistic model. I love the thumb tack pictures, it makes them look like (...) (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Latest build after a long break!

(...) Jas, Well, it looks like the time off has not hindered your creativity. Gerraint is great! You really need to change his oil more though, he just looks mad! :) I love the face expression ... The eyes with the squared jaw gives him a really (...) (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Silver Squidy, Medieval Bot, and new Mr.Ham

(...) Lenny, You are a creative genius. Your mind works in so many different ways, I am amazed. Everyone of your bots are completely different from any other. That kind of creativity is, is, is ... AWESOME. Then we have your joints!!!!! Do you just (...) (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
